Evergreen Wisteria (Millettia reticulata) Common names are not to be entirely trusted. Evergreen Wisteria is neither evergreen ( it will lose it's leaves on very cold winters) nor a Wisteria- but it certainly greatly resembles one! This fragrant summer blooming vine is much easier to manage than Wisteria making it an excellent choice for a a trellis, fence or arbor. We love its ability to continue blooming through even the hottest days with enchanting deep purple pea-like blooms that make it a great substitute for Wisteria.
